parata d'arte
this year i returned to the deitch art parade in soho to see what was going on in the world of art parades. apparently this is what's going on:
body-paint is big this year
as is semi-naked bike riding
people are confusing
and confused
cops are sexy
and parades are fun for everybody, except the dude who has to clean up the confetti and hispter dung

i'm thinking of taking up nude cycling - do you think it's a bit showy to nude cycle on a racing bike or would a mountain bike be more incognito? i just hate it when people stare at me.

i'd go with one of those old-timey bicycles with the giant front wheel and the tiny rear wheel for two reasons:
1. everyone would be staring at your bicycle, not your proverbial fish and chips.
2. you can't go wrong with any plan involving those old-timey bicycles with the giant front wheel and the tiny rear wheel.

i like it! the nice thing about a penny farthing too is that the ol' fish 'n' chips will be eye level. so if anyone did happen to look my way they wouldn't even see my face. in many ways i'll fly through the streets completely unseen, which is perfect.

they're not *really* naked, doye. if they were, i imagine they'd be riding a bit lower on those bicycles.
